The rosé is whole cluster pressed and the juice sees a quick settling in tank before being moved to an assortment of small vessels, utilizing 70% neutral oak and 30% stainless steel. The primary fermentation is done quickly to preserve the great fruit characteristics of Grenache. Malolactic fermentation was blocked and the wine was racked clean for an additional 5 months of aging in the same mix of vessels.
Our Grenache Rosé is a true direct to press, barrel aged wine for immediate quaffing or for aging. The "Old Spring Vineyard" 20 year old heritage vines produces a sublime rose with fresh peach and strawberry aromas. It is a mouth filing, thirst quenching experience like biting into a Granny Smith apple. It whispers spring is coming and get ready for summer.
